The harder you push, the more you are rejected. The more you want in, the more they want you out. I am uncertain whether desire for connection and understanding is a positive thing when it comes to people.
Being ignored is of the norm it seems, and wishing others wanted to share everything with you turns out to be a negative thing. I have never been the type to draw open hearts, or maybe perhaps open mouths.
I wish I could make the world pour out its heart and tell me how everyone feels, what I could do to change it. I just might make people happy… that just might make me happy to make them happy.
Is my desire to help the world a selfish desire…
